Everyone is talking for Pennies for Patients, but can someone tell us exactly what it is? Most people want to know what they’re donating to before they give their money.
Samantha Corker, President of the Student Council, said that Pennies for Patients is a way to help raise money to those who are very ill and do not have the money to pay for the treatments that are needed. This money will go to a number of organizations, such as the Red Cross.
Interested in donating to this good cause, but not sure what to do? There is a small white box in every classroom. There is also a prize for whichever A3 or B7 class that donates the most money. You don’t have to be in that class to donate either.
The prize is a pizza party for your A3 or B7 class. There will be pizza and soda available. Donate now, because the contest ends on March 19, 2010. If you would like your class to win the pizza party prize or would like to donate your money, then look for those small white boxes in any classroom.
