The Spotsy Family

What is it that makes Spotsy a great place to be? It isn’t the budget. It isn’t the football team. And it definitely isn’t the food. No, what makes Spotsy a great place has got to be the teachers.

The teachers of Spotsy are what truly make Spotsy a great place to be. Ask any student, and it is an assured fact that he or she will have a favorite teacher. You can’t go through the school and not hear someone say “This teacher is the bomb!” or “This teacher is just too cool.”  A good example of Spotsy teacher appreciation was said by Spotsy alumni Tim Mort.

“I have to say that Mr. Hauger was my favorite teacher, because he was the only one who could talk insanity and still make sense.”

Also, Chris Hollingsworth said “Ms. Collins, because she just has to be the coolest teacher around.”

Although the feeling of family is held very close by the students, the sentiment is also shared by the teachers.

“I consider every teacher here a good friend,” said Mr. Kistler.

Ms. LaRocco stated when asked about her co-workers, “They are some of my dearest friends: professional and fun.”

With all of these testimonials, it is easy to see that Spotsy is a family united. There is no separating, no diminishing, and certainly no destroying the bonds that join us as one school body.
