Fall Out Boy is an American rock band that was formed in 2001. The band consists of vocalist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, drummer Andy Hurley, and guitarist Joe Trohman. Since 2001, Fall Out Boy have released 7 studio albums. These albums include, “Take This To Your Grave,” “From Under The Cork Tree,”“Infinity on High,” “Folie a Deux,” “Save Rock and Roll,” “American Beauty/American Psycho,” and “M A N I A”.

“M A N I A” was released this past January, and it wasn’t what many of their fans expected. The tracks on this album are “Stay Frosty Royal Milk Tea,” “Last of the Real Ones,” “HOLD ME TIGHT OR DON’T, ”“Wilson (Expensive Mistakes),” “Church,” “Heavens Gate,” “Champion,” “Sunshine Riptide,” “Young and Menace,” and “Bishops Knife Trick”. Ever since they came back from their hiatus in 2013, Fall Out Boy have taken on a much softer sound. “M A N I A” is a perfect example of this. Compared to their other albums, this one takes on a unique sound. Many people label this album as pop or pop rock.

Personally, when I first listened to “M A N I A”, I was surprised because they took on a totally different sound the they usually do, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. I wouldn’t say this is the best music I’ve heard from them, but it’s definitely up there.
